Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, chatbots, machine learning, blockchain, 3D, VR, IoT, APPs, wearables, video games, etc… Technological innovation is accelerating the fourth industrial revolution and promises to contribute to solving many social and environmental problems, but who is creating this technology? Are women’s  social issues important enough to devote the attention of the technological world on them? In this panel we bring together founders of organizations and communities of Women & Tech from Latin America who will reflect on these questions and on the role that communities of programmers, developers, technology experts and scientists can play to promote technological innovations that offer solutions to challenges for reproductive health and rights that affect millions of women in the region. What actions need to be put in place to involve more women in technology and in creating these solutions? Where to start?
