Executive Director of Visibles, an LGBTIQ + training and communications organization.
He is Editor in Chief for the magazine Impronta, on identity, sexuality, and culture in Central America, and its respective creative laboratory. He coordinates the trainings of the Iniciativa Latinoamericana de Periodismo sobre personas LGBTIQ+ along with IWMF.
His work can be seen in media outlets such as Univisión, ProPublica and Radio Ambulante (USA), Plaza Pública (Guatemala), y Travesias (Mexico).
He is a course tutor for the OAS, the IDB, the Knight Center for Journalism at the University of Texas, and a researcher for the Latin American Open Data Initiative. He has been the winner of the TRACE Award for Investigative Journalism and the Award for Journalistic Excellence from the Inter-American Press Association, two times. He has been a finalist in the Gabriel García Márquez and Roche awards, and in the IDEA Initiative for Innovation in Sexual and Reproductive Rights, also two times, and the Innovation Fellowship of ICFJ and The Wall Street Journal.
