Elva López Mourelo

Elva López Mourelo is an Officer in Inclusive Labor Market Institutions at the International Labor Organization (ILO) in Argentina, where she leads the strategy on improving working conditions, transition to the formal economy and equal opportunities. Previously, she worked as an Economist in the ILO Research Department in Geneva. Before joining the ILO in 2011, Elva herself worked as a researcher and a professor of microeconomics and macroeconomics at the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain), from which she obtained a PhD in Economics.
