Karo Gómez is a publicist with a digital emphasis, with 10 years of experience. She has worked in international agencies such as DDB, BBDO, McCann, FCB, Gray and also served as Director of Content and Social Media for the local team of Together W, an independent agency from Argentina. She recently joined CIRCUS Marketing’s Digital Strategy team.
Last year, she was recognized by the Gender Equity Committee of the Cannes Lions festival as one of the 15 global ambassadors of the See It Be It program, which seeks to highlight female publicists who promote a gender perspective and improvements in their community in relation to equity.
She is currently part of the board of directors of the Creative Circle of Mexico, where she promotes the gender perspective and encourages diversity and inclusion from within the industry outwards. She is also an active contributor to Publicitatias, both in the local team in Mexico and abroad.
In recent years, she has focused her career on making visible the different social problems the world faces, with a focus on local Mexican issues, diversity, inclusion, and feminism.
