Mariana Costa Checa

Mariana is the co-founder and CEO of Laboratoria, an organization that encourages women who dream of a better future to start and grow a career in technology. With training centers in Peru, Chile, Mexico, Brazil, and Colombia, Laboratoria works to achieve a more diverse, inclusive and competitive digital economy, which creates opportunities for each woman to develop her potential. Thanks to her work as a social entrepreneur, Mariana has been named one of the most innovative young women in Peru by MIT and had the honor of sharing a panel with President Obama at the 2016 Global Entrepreneurship Summit. 

She has a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from the London School of Economics and a Master’s in Public Administration and Development from Columbia University in New York.
