Ramón Torre Cañal

Ramón joined Planned Parenthood Global in 2013 and currently works as Senior Program Officer. He is the Director of the IDEA Initiative, PP Global´s Social Innovation Laboratory for Reproductive Rights, where he promotes a new regional ecosystem made up of leaders from the advertising, technology, digital media and impact investment sectors to apply their creativity, passion and talent to find innovative solutions to the reproductive health and rights challenges in Latin America.

Before joining Planned Parenthood Global, he worked in large international organizations such as the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) and Marie Stopes International in various countries.

He is an international expert in innovation, communications and advocacy programs and campaigns for sexual and reproductive rights. He is also passionate about networking and digital activism, because only the voice of millions of people around the world acting together will achieve real changes towards the exercise of human rights.
