Political scientist at the École de Sciences Politiques et Sociales de Paris, with more than 18 years of experience in public affairs, crisis management and corporate communications.
Since January 2019, she leads Microsoft’s communications for Colombia, Central America and Venezuela. She also leads reputation management strategies, designs and manages Microsoft’s editorial calendar, executive communication strategies, and internal communications. In partnership with local agencies, she generates narratives, multimedia content, messaging and publications, editorial pieces and client success stories to lead the sector’s share of voice and positive sentiment.
From 2013 to 2018 he joined FTI Consulting, a corporate communications consultant agency in Colombia, where she became the General Manager in 2015. She led and implemented public and regulatory affairs strategies, corporate communications and crisis management for more than 30 clients in the public and private sector, while directing the firm’s public affairs and digital practices.
Before becoming a consultant, she served the Colombian government as a non-political and communications advisor to the High Commissioner for Peace, then to the Presidential High Commissioner for Citizen Security. She later was chief of staff of the Minister of the Environment.
She began her professional career as a journalist for the political and security sections of the magazine Revista Semana in Colombia for 5 years. She was the international correspondent in the United States, Mexico and Brazil. She was also a correspondent for Cambio Magazine.
She has been a frequent guest and panelist on radio and television political opinion programs, such as Hora20 (Caracol), Voces (RCN), RCN Televisión, Club de Prensa y La Tarde (NTN 24) and France 24, among others.
