Ale Barahona, artist and cultural manager originally from Guatemala, is co-founder and Project director of El Nido Estudio, a collective committed to female empowerment and personal development through art.

Graduated from the Rafael Landivar University as an Industrial Designer and with a Master in Cultural Management from Taipei National University of the Arts in Taiwan, Ale has taken her passion for design and art to an international level. Her story as a cultural manager began when, upon returning to Guatemala in 2016, she co-founded El Nido.
