Lori Adelman [she/her/hers] is Vice President, Global Connect and Acting Executive Director at Planned Parenthood Global, the international arm of PPFA, supporting brave activists advancing sexual and reproductive health and rights in Africa and Latin America.
An advocate, strategist, and media maker with 15+ years of experience promoting reproductive, racial, and gender justice globally, Lori is also co-host of the feminist podcast Cringewatchers. She previously ran Feministing, an independent blog founded in 2004, and has worked at international NGOs including Global Fund for Women, the United Nations Foundation, the International Women’s Health Coalition, and Human Rights Watch. She has written for a host of print and digital properties and regularly appears on radio and television, and has spoken at college campuses across the U.S. and globally.
A graduate of Harvard University, she has been named to The Root 100 list of the nation’s most influential African Americans and to both Forbes and Brooklyn Magazine’s list of the “30 Under 30”.
