Lucía Villavicencio

Lucía Cristina was born in Manabí, Ecuador. Her life from the age of 3 months was a constant coming and going between the Pacific coast and the Ecuadorian Andes.

Lucía Cristina has a Master’s degree in Religion, Ethics and Politics from Harvard University. She has led various social innovation projects with private companies and international organizations and participated as a consultant on various social justice issues with NGOs and private companies. Additionally, she was part of the production team of the Duolingo Spanish Podcast, one of the most listened to podcasts in the world.

Currently, Lucía Cristina is a Senior Innovation Officer for the IDEA Initiative, Planned Parenthood Global’s social innovation lab; She is the founder of Semilla Pod, a podcasts with purpose production company; and enjoys Socratic spaces as a professor of Self-knowledge at Universidad San Francisco de Quito.
