Pilar Montalvo

Obstetrician with a Master’s Degree in Management of social projects and programs, she has more than 25 years of experience in international cooperation working on issues of political advocacy and human rights, especially in sexual and reproductive health and gender in Latin American countries. As a descendant of the Huanca People of Peru, Pilar is a representative of Latin America in the Global Coordination and Research Group on Indigenous Sexual and Reproductive Health and is Past President of the International Indigenous HIV&AIDS Community.
