Daisy is an Afro-feminist and passionate advocate for the rights of women, girls, and youth. With over a decade of extensive experience in international development work across the global south, she has been at the forefront of numerous initiatives and projects in support of girls’ and youth empowerment. Her impactful journey has included leadership roles at organizations such as UN-Habitat, Oxfam Pan Africa, Junior Achievement, and Digital Opportunity Trust.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Daisy is a co-founder of ‘Girl Confidence,’ a mentorship program for Kenyan adolescent girls, focusing on building self-confidence and providing menstrual health education. She also serves on the board of Malkia Initiative, a grassroots organization dedicated to promoting girls’ education and addressing issues like female genital mutilation and other harmful practices.
